She sits in front of her window, listening to the rain. Blue eyes tearing up, she says the rain will hide my pain. She runs to the doorway, no jacket or shoes needed. Shes just going to run and jump in puddles... even if she freezes.
Reaching to the sky, she holds out her hands. Tears running from her eyes, feet soaked from the mud where she stands. Cold and shivering she looks up and screams to the sky, Oh Dear God ... why me.... why?
The rain turns to a sprinkle, and then to a mist, now in the mud is where she sits.. Looking up she sees the sun shining bright, realizing she will be alright. She jumps to her feet, laughs and begins to walk again. With a rainbow to her right, and her heart beating stronger within.
She goes to her window, sits down and sighs. Once more looks at the rainbow and turns down the blinds. thank you god... for everything you bring, for the rainbow and the song the birds sing. For the rain that falls from the skies, thanks for your friendship and for washing the tears from my eyes....

I smiled while reading this, the window listening to the rain........ tears playing in the puddles then the beauty of the rainbow.......... Nothing better. Super job here..
Such is life just as the storm........ it passes and the sun comes once more.
