A night-song breath of summers eve.
For a moment I thought I heard your laughter
the way it used to ring sweetly through the tree's.
Longing feels the heart for brief moments again.
Snowflakes unique in their shape and form,
snow angles and dancing over snow drifts
winters breath blowing down our necks
for a moment I almost feel that ice blue chill.
You are gone now, your traces race through my mind.
once in awhile I hear a goodbye whispered on the wind.
Tiny drops of rain each hold a second glimpse of you
as they transform and run freely down sloping hills.
A goodbye whispered once more..... hearing you in my dreams......

A beautiful winter farewell poem with elegant flow of words. I could feel the emotion attached in very verse.

Michelle, what a beautiful piece of melancholy. Such loveliness
and yet laden with a sadness that sobers the heart into gentle
humility. Painfully, beautiful sweets.
