He creeps along the broken trail. Ears perked up with a wagging tail. Circling round an old hay bale. He soon sniffs out the felled quail.
Leading the way he walks with care. Holding on tightly,she feels their stare. Safely home,she's led to her chair. Peacefully at rest,a warm fire they share.
Biting down hard with all his brawn. A voice below yells,come on! come on! Save me boy. You can do it,you're strong. Pull with all you're might,pull me along.
Clumsy and playful he chases the ball. Sitting for a treat or shaking a paw. Sensing fear and illness in us all. Mas best friend,always there when we call.
