My Hell

In a cage we reside,
Safe from tears and tide.
Through the chains that bind
From our love
We cannot hide,
Two souls connected by a string
A friendship evil can only sting
Confusion we have yet to see
In this hell of mine.
Hostage of our own freewill
We hide
And we hide still.
We escape,
But some will die
Time is cruel,
And death will fly.
Confusion we will soon see
In this hell of mine.
Limb by limb,
They lacerate
From our veins
Flows bitter fate
Must our time be so soon up
As we taste the bitter cup
As I open up my etes
No longer speaking
From the ties,
I sense the life of
Someone dead...
And then I too
Lay down my head
Confusion, there no longer be,
From my hell I now am free.
