I have scratched out my eyes
Swallowed my demise
Pulled out my heart
Bled from within
And died once again
I have found my cause on a cold table
Execution of an autopsy
I did not kill myself
It was a slow murder derived from you
A direct effect of everything you put me through
The destruction you did inside
Created a pain I never tried to hide
Yet you showed me no mercy
Only punishment glistening with eternity
You hurt me, so I had to take it all away
Night after night, day after day
Self infliction until death
With each and every breath
It felt so wrong
Yet so right
Slowly losing sight
My eyes never to cry
Cold and at peace now here I lie
My soul abandoned, heart broken
Last words spoken
In my final moments...
It's a painless ride to serenity.
