Staring out a window

As i stare out a window
that was once open to me
i see the other side
and the things that pass me by

i see you walking along
with someone else by your side
i want to break through
but i cant find the strength

i once had the strength
but that came from hope
with that lost
samson's curse is upon me.

As i stare out a window
i see you laugh
and smile so sweetly
at someone who isn't me.

I know that i used to be that one
who made your laugh and smile
what the hell happened?
How did that window close?

So as i sit and stare
i feel the room close in on me
i want to find my strength
but it won't come.
