Sometimes we throw caution to the wind,
and say some things we cant rescind.
If its excitement that you seek,
dont be afraid to take a peek.
And disregard that shake in your knees,
it is the day that you must seize.
Get up in the morning and jump out of bed,
to heck with the bacon, have oatmeal instead.
Learn to say thank you and sometimes please.
Dot your Is and cross your Ts.
And that suggestion that you wouldnt tell,
the one you arent sure would go over well.
Blast them with it real fast,
and let them stick it in theirpipe.
Put on the blue jeans, maybe a hat.
Tell them that you might be back.
Out the door and on your way,
Dont let this wait another day.
Stretch out your back and work out that kink.
Youre really more forward, than you would think.
