A flutter deep, felt in my chest
Of pure excitement and happiness
That moment you come into view
All this, because of you
Hands that reach and come to touch
Our souls ascend it feels as such
The eyes grow bright in tender hue
All this, because of you
In desperation we do cling
Our hearts as one begin to sing
Each meeting keeps this love anew
All this, because of you
And when apart, a sorrows felt
For these are cards that life has dealt
Remembered thoughts pass to review
All this, because of you
In deep of night, there comes a pain
A face marked with a teardrop stain
Its of my heart this love does spew
All this, because of you
My arms surround and hold you tight
To see you through, this unsettled night
For where you are, I am there too
All this, because of you
Theres comfort knowing that you care
A magic to this bond we share
To understand these feelings true
All this, because of you
Emotions abundant, so more than strong
A connection that has bordered wrong
I lack the willpower to undo
All this again, because of you
