I sit up late, no escape Just waiting for daybreak And though my eyes get heavy I stay awake ... Until half past eight While I wait for sleep to take Pressures on my mind, feelings I can't shake I feel I may break With one swift kick comes open the flood gates Count the change in my pockets to add up my mistakes Knowing that two cents of love loss eventually makes ...QUARTER DOLLAR HATE! For my soul's sake I pray heaven to wait

A clever play of words to express thoughts...
It's a pleasure to read indeed.
Regards,
FRANCO.
