The creeping blue of the dark but moving night A thoughtful shadow that creeps across the wall Things that drift on a timeless journey to the light My eyes ramble over the light at the darks downfall
So now the sun rises in the sky and spread across my face The moon has gone and the birds sing their songs of day Fingers of light across my room and the shadows leave no trace And now I rise with no sleep but still from this time my mind will stray
Now the day draws to its close and it is time to head to bed As I try to find a scrap of sleep I need to let things be But my mind is occupied and I can't get these thoughts out of my head The creeping blue is back again and covers everything I see.

This write describes so well what I went through many nights. Thoughts and words flying through my head so I could not sleep. Keep the pen and paper close. You will get some amazing works if you jot your thoughts down at the time. Enjoyed the read.
