Memories flow
Inside my mind
Twists and turns
Swirling circles
Like cigarette burns
Fevered traces
Branded in the spaces
Shaped like jagged stars
Mental scars
Etched forever
Painful portraits
From which I cannot sever
Emotionally trapped
Mentally strapped
Held hostage to the memories
Like a sick twisted disease
My eyes bleed with pain
From the agony locked within my brain
Images of your face crumble into razor blade pieces
Slicing through my fragile mind
Collecting behind my eyes gone blind
This is my world of darkness
With no sunset left to find
Just me, myself and I
Trapped inside my memories
Waiting to die.
