My Mary
Her journey started long ago
And seems to have no end
From here to there, and everywhere
And then shes back again
Shes been straight through the gauntlet
But somehow, shes gotten lost
And seemingly unbeknownst to her
That heartache would be her cost
Now she is one endearing soul
That needs to get on track
And God if you could let her know
Its you, thats got her back
Shes brought to others so much joy
And has certainly made us smile
So please, if you can see your way
And let her rest, for just awhile
She has within her all this love
That Im sure you would agree
And Mary, just to let you know
Youre a part, of this family
So with your search do close your eyes
And make this your new start
For what it is you seek in life
Youll find in your own heart

| I enjoyed its simplicity. I loved its concept. It may apply to one person, but it could so easily apply to so many. It is a beautiful poem. |
