Distorted Intentions

Contributed by Chloe-Sama on Saturday, 5th April 2008 @ 02:26:15 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Distorted intentions, deadly infatuations,
Critical insinuations, torn in desperation;
Soul searching, presence yearning
To seek the inevitable, thoughts are burning.
Hells release, body and disease,
Destines heartfelt pleas, she falls to her knees.

Powerful cries, bloodshot eyes,
Scrutiny alive, her mind dies.
Screaming, dreaming,
Thoughts leaning, no longer seeing;
The power is lost, life is the cost,
Her needs tossed by societys boss.

Illusions stripped, pains shes gripped,
From her heart life was ripped, souls cold ice drips.
Hatred fills her, no longer wishing,
Todays misgiving, shuns the living.
Evil snakes possess her mind, within her head they entwine,
Making love hard to find, she fades, to another time.

Pondering between life and death, darkness rules her head,
Ammunition lies upon her bed, gun cocked, visions become red.
A stolen innocence stripped her soul, to this world she let go,
Pain and suffering no longer holds the heart of a girl gone cold.
A kiss of death in early eve, due to lies and deceit,
Bounded through evil dwellings retreat, she is now released.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
