Topic:
oops
|
In a flash of rage, I smashed my bathroom mirror With my soft right hand balled Into an impenetrable fist.
Now I casually clean the blood, Taking the tweezers and picking each shard from my skin. Leave the mess where it lie and ask no questions.

I like the way the brevity of the poem almost mirrors the act (no pun intended on the word mirror).
Nice write

This poem stands out to me because you didn't write about what happened to cause the flash of rage, instead you nonchalantly describe your reaction. Although clearly you were angry, you seem to have been calm when you wrote this. Well done and great imagery.
