Blue skies turned black
Broken daggers
Resting in my back
Poisoned lips
Blowing farewell kisses
For lifetime trips
Separting from each other
Goodbye lover
Goodbye friend
Everything eventually
Comes to an end
Empty spaces
Forgotten faces
Once bitten
Twice shy
Lie after lie
Never forgive
Never forget
Falling in love with you
Is my biggest regret
I believed
You decieved
Promises made
Promises broken
Few words said
Most left unspoken
Lessons learned
Bridges burned
Blinded eyes
Severed ties
Once adored
Now denied
I'm giving up
Just know I tried
Something once alive
Now has died
Drowning slowly
From all the tears I've cried
As we reach the end
Goodbye lover...
Goodbye friend.

Nice write. Ahh love, the only emotion that causes even entire countries to crumble. Yet the same emotion that brings those same countries together. Such a complex thing..
