Unnoticable damage

sometimes
you do not realize
what you have done
until you see the damage
after this weekend
i might have to explain to mom
that i am growing up and trying to be an adult
that she wants me to be
yet i am feeling a vibe
a vibe that says
"Might be too late before she tries her best to love me right"
i love my mom to death
yet at the same time
i want her to see that
i am not her little girl anymore
that i am finally trying to show her
that i am becoming a young woman
as stubborn as she is
she will not get the message until it is too late
parents of all ages
if you want your child or children to have a good life
then try to be a part of their lives
before they walk out the door into adult hood
that way there can no damages between you and them
we all live once and only have a set of children once
so please
donot do what my mom is doing to me
just do what you think is right for your children
please
