I thought I could change you. And although its pathetic and impossible, its true. I thought I could change you. But I guess it doesnt matter what I do. And now that youve found someone new, What I am, who I amit doesnt matter to you. Outside Im smiling, inside Im dying. Outside Im laughing, inside Im crying. My already fragile heart Has begun to fall apart. And here I thought I could change you, Get you to stop drinking, and chewing too. Yeah right! And now, because of you, I cry all night.
