~That Guilty Feeling~

More often than not, when I come on here,
I read poems that bring me a tear.
A lot of the times I feel as guilty as sin
How to comment, I cant even begin.
There are so many poems of impending suicide,
Reading them just tears me up inside.
Then there are the few poets, who tell of incest,
I know they need to get it off their chest.
When I listen to those who have lost their love,
For my own happiness I thank the One above.
I feel terrible for those who have been abused,
I imagine that their life now seems all confused.
I read of murders and I read of rape,
From these it seems there is no escape.
So my friends, if at times I do not comment,
Know that its not always by accident.
Most times I feel guilty for the happiness that I feel,
While I try to imagine your pain, that is so real.

Jenni,
I love this write. There is much here in YPDC that I've read, and failed to comment on, because I do not like suicide writings. Most times I will not even finish the read, and will move on to another poem.

Wow! jenni, i didin't think so much was so sad on here, but don't feel guilty, no keep writting about whatever you write about
cause who know 's, you may be keeping some one alive and just don't know it, boy could i feel guilty but who know's, i jusy think i bore people with my love poems, anyway as usual your top notch and thank you also for your comment, trust me, it's most appreciated. take care kiddo . . .

Jenni...you are truly a kind soul...with all the pain in this world, maybe bringing these wrongs to light can somehow help us all through it.
Or maybe just knowing that there is someone who cares...can somehow bring a degree of comfort.
