an unrestrained star

Heart unsown, fallow tree, desire to lift your branches high, to grow endlessly, to breach the glory of the sky, to live adorned with silences as soft as voices in the sky.
Broken heart, defeated stone, desire the wind to chisel your pain, to unfold upon you the tender winter rain, let time divide you, carve into you your name so that all will look upon you, and uphold your name.
Forgotten love, failing star, desire to veil from night, your inevitable end, to subdue in your immense compassion the fear of your departure, and depart, an unrestrained star, remembered quietly, searched for in the clear night sky.
Intangible laughter, an inarticulate stream, desire to spring; to twist madly across valleys, to consume mountains and seas, desire to alleviate thirst, to captivate the downtrodden, to be as the waters of the river Jordon on a fervent dayunbridled and constrained.
