I Spent It On Neons

Contributed by a7x36 on Wednesday, 23rd April 2008 @ 05:10:35 PM in AEST
Topic: limericks

Dont have much to say
Except go to hell and eat some hay.
Listen to some Bach and _____.
Just nothing thats been a hit.

Shh, be quiet, the movies playing.
And hopefully my girlfriend will be staying.
Shes got enough money to get me through the week
And I need her so I dont end up in the street.
Plus shes kinda hot too.

Lets go back to the playground.
It was so much more fun than the underground.
When we were still on solid ground
And I wasnt being chased by a bloodhound.

I was seven and still free
To play candyland just for me.
Chutes and Ladders with the buds,
A bubble bath with tons of suds.

Now I stock shelves at 7/11
And work way past seven and eleven.
While were all so far from heaven,
And Jose gets off the same time as Melvin.

I got my refund check in the mail
Gonna go spend it on my next bail.
Or maybe a new set of neons for my neon.
Or just a new sycamore tree to pee on.

Lets go back to the playground.
It was so much more fun than the underground.
When we were still on solid ground
And I wasnt being chased by a bloodhound.

_______, my life sucks,
Its not even worth 10 bucks.
Hand me a ______ beer.

The Vandals are the perfect inspiration
for a good write. Perfect irony and they
don't take things too seriously. I like your title and it would make a good punk rock song.
good stuff
