whats happening to me
my world is crashing all around
complete discust with my reality
why is it now when everything is so great
its trying to break me
i cant look into the darkness
whats happening to me
as i sit up at night wondering where she is
is she dead or did she kill someone
knowledge unknown to me
whats happening to me
when i lose the my best friend
he just stops talking to me and acts like im not here
what have i done
whats happening to me
as i sit here writting this poem
wondering how do i keep caring
can i possibly go on
whats happening to me
when i see people not care
just throwing trash everywhere
unable to see the destuction they leave
whats happening to me
when i just close my eyes to sleep
i see a wonderful world
no wars, no hunger, no lost friendships or moms
every one will be right where they are needed
whats happening to me
i wake up and remember
im the one who carries this burden all alone
unable to show how much it bothers me
not wanting to care
but unable to bear the look in your eyes
when i have to tell you good bye....
