Waiting
As the line between sanity and insanity grows thinner
Trying to catch myself between the bars
Life continues to fly through my fingertips

Nothing slows it
As they say the beat goes on
This beat is not my beat
I can no longer march

These feet become heavy
These eyelids tired
And as I concede to sleep youre all I think about
All I can think about.
All that I dont want to know
But cant help but fill my mind with

It hurts,
To care so much
To know,
That no matter what
I will be without you
That you dont care
That your head on my chest is something I was never meant to feel

I know that all of this pain isnt real
Despite this knowledge
Youre still in my head
Still in my heart
And it sucks
