Its not fair how you get to be the skinny one, And how I was chosen To be the fat one. Its not fair that every day, I get to watch you eat and eat. If I ate that much, Id break a seat. Its not fair that day after day, I realize that Im never going to be skinny And you always will be. Its not fair that everyone adores you And that will never change, no matter what I do. Its not fair that the opposite sex finds you attractive And I have to be very active Just to stay the way I am. All you do is cram More and more food into your mouth, While I slowly drift down south. Tell me, little brother How does it make you feel knowing that our parents love their son better than their daughter?

This is a sad and hurtful poem. I hope it's not true.
It's hard for me to believe that parents could love one child more than another.
I can only pray for your healing. |

I really like this poem, it's moving. It also helps that I can relate to what you're saying. |
