The rain is cold
But I'm not afraid
Because it hides the tears
that you have made
My body starts to shiver
My hands start shaking
When you told me you loved me
I should of known you were faking
I left it all up to you
I should've known that was wrong
Because now that your gone
it's like the ending of a song
He was my everything
who's going to catch me when I fall
and now he's nothing
nothing at all
The rain keeps coming harder and harder
and the tears keep streaming
but no one can hear or see
the inside of me screaming
I close my eyes
and I count to three
as I hold up the medal rod
my soul gets set free.

Wow i must say it's a very emotional write. But i do feel you're grief as well. This also reminds me of when I broke someone's heart when I really thought we were meant to be. I still can't stand the guilt. Hope you have better days,
