I know I push too much; keep in mind I cant say anything I want I dont feel free to speak or feel and therefore I am pressing out as if locked in, but in the same sense I feel free? True enough I hardly have a distinct feeling in this mixture Yet I know it all already. Its just you I get to learn from And as impatient as I am it seems that yet again I make myself wait and wait and wait Fighting my own fighting words to keep myself in line They say we are truest to our nature in repose Defensive to ways of the placid Feeling as though they are without passion Yet as I lie motionless and still on this side of this unfamiliar bed I learn of contentment and yearn for more But my heart beats wildly in and out of my chest In and out, and again and again In my chest and in your hands so I know now Of things I could never know then And in my silence, my mind is reeling on the loudest of emotions Of all the many times I have wished to change my past For the first time I cant imagine doing so if it would change my present.
