As I watch this bottle drain I see my glass fill up And as it seems I have less wine I empty another cup This poison running through my veins makes my vision blured As i struggle to control my limbs I find my words are slured It's just another night that has been spent on drowning pain The more I drink the more I'm numbed and closer to being sane This is my life, this is my time and on the inside i am dieing For when I smile at you, deep inside I know that I am lieing

I am glad to see that word, "former" in the opening lines.... Good write... I know the feeling, only I am facing another kind of demon....
