~A daisy petal for two~

I the grower of the gardens
keeper of the flowers
spending the daylight hours
playing in the dirt.

You the little girl
with the eyes of brightest blue
red little cheeks
golden hair cascading down your back.

A daisy petal for two
oh yes now that was our time
dressing your golden locks
with white daisies pink and white.

Little giggles Id hear
as you twirled and showed off your hair
little flower garden atop your head
soft lips of barely pinkish red.

A daisy petal for two
hand in hand we would walk
cross the lazy meadows
with sunflowers standing tall.

Oh if I could give you back those thoughts.
Send them to you right now.
Id share another garden sweet doll
a daisy petal for two.

(I love you sweet young lady)
