Roses are red and violets a blue What is love? Do I love you? Roses of red with thorns so sharp. A symbol of beauty, a symbol of love?
Lovers have flaws And we have our tiffs But love holds us close And prevents a rift. The thorns of the rose Though sharp and cruel Compliment the flower As a balancing tool.
With its scent so sweet And its petals so fine Its delicate shape Of petals entwined. Our love is sweet Our loves is fine So delicate our love With our minds entwined.
So with roses of red, well never be blue Because you love me and I love you. Roses of red my flower beloved A symbol of beauty, a symbol of love.

First of all welcome to YPDC.
I will say the very beginning had me thinking this would be a sappy write but alas just the opposite. Flowing and genuine with a touch of petal and sass nicely done. Nice message to. Anyone who cares for another does so even with the thorn once inawhile.
