Been gone for so long
that I
forgotten how to do this
you see
it's so hard to concentrate
when you got a hole in your soul
and the essence of your flow
has been ripped and shattered.
I am a captive of Ill Illusions
lost in confusion
adrift in a rift
of a emotional hell.
I don't wanna be a shadow no more
I wanna break free
but I've forgotten how to get back
and I no longer know how to be happy,
I have been down for so long
that I have trouble remembering
that no emotion
anymore than a wave
can maintain it's form
it breaks eventually.

LIfe at times seems to do this to us doesn't it?
You wrote a lovely poem with spark though it is touched with sadness.
Take heed you have friends to pick you up when you are down and feel you cannot get up on your own.
