God’s Greatest Creation

Contributed by Vic on Tuesday, 6th May 2008 @ 03:08:03 PM in AEST
Topic: MothersDayPoems

From the moment shes born, she gets to work,
She works a smile on her daddys anxious face.
Cheers everyone around unaware of the hardships that lurk,
She is the personification of Gods amazing grace.

Im not talking about one, but all the women,
Who toil tirelessly for the ones they love.
Standing by their men and bringing up their children,
Helping them grow righteous in the sight of the Lord above.

She maybe ill or hurt but you wont see her complain,
Shell hide the tears behind a phlegmatic smile.
Wish we had the gift to discover her pain,
Relieving her of the chores and help her rest for a while.

She could be a loving sister, mother or a wife,
That displays affection that makes a mile seem shorter than a yard.
A woman inspires a man to make the best out of his life,
The Virgin Mary is a woman too, and the Mother of God.

I/'/m a bit down on women these days.
Not the good ones but I know all to well the foolishness they can dish out. But if I take your great write and put it to my mom- it is glorious and true.
Another winner Vic
