Please dont leave me
Or forsake me
Lord knows that it would break me
As the darkness and silence closes in
I confess to the Lord my only sin
That I fell in love with an angel so true
Cant help that she came out of the blue
Into my open arms she did come
With hair shining like the morning sun
And eyes like the moon
Love in my life came late yet so soon
You brought me smiles throughout the day
Brillance to chase my dark away
In my cold revelry
I could barely see
Till you came into my life
I struggled in turmoil and strife
Oh sweet darling of mine
I build a wall to make it all fine
And keep the demons at bay
Protecting you everyday
This is my thanks for your saving grace
Granting me the pleasure of your lovely face
If time were to stop here right now
On bended knee I would bow
And lift up your hand tenderly
Place a ring on your finger for the world to see
That together forever we'll be
