Yes, this poem is very sad. Though I could never tell you it is wrong, for I have felt the same way on a few occasions.
This piece is heavy with emotion.
It is clear and to-the-point.
I can connect to it.
But try not to dwell on it or ruminate over it, my friend, because it could open the wound again.
My advice: keep yourself occupied with a nice activity. Listen to music, play a game, take a walk, or, of course, write poetry!
Lord knows that poetry solves everyone's problems! LOL!
