I am Curious, Poet (Voyeur Amour)

Contributed by spike on Sunday, 18th May 2008 @ 05:37:59 PM in AEST
Topic: obsession

I only love you from a distance,
but what a sight to behold!
the view from here is picturesque,
if I may be so bold.

When you move into the darkness,
your silhouettes a tease
the waving of your tresses
like a willow in the breeze.

Your skin is dressed in satin,
it clings to your full chest
the daytime shows youre pretty
but Ive seen you at your best.

A favour to an admirer,
for tomorrow night
could you open the bedroom curtain,
just a little to the right?

Good grief ..

lol

S, it is always such a treat when you let your imagination stretch into the naughty.
I love this piece. We, as humans, love to entertain voyeurism, I think. That's why
those trashy celebrity magazines sell so well. The last stanza is perfect!

Always a pleasure, visiting your work. You are a delight. :)

lol, this was quite the original write. I liked your final rhymes, they ended the poem on such a clever note.

I wonder if I'll ever watch Rear Window again and not think he's slightly creepy...(well, moreso)

A witty and honest piece of work, this touches on a subject not many care to write about and when it is its usually nothing as intelligent and entertaining as this, very well done, really teasing the senses and no wonder theres a good few comments here, were a curious race with odd habits and youve portrayed one of the most curious with ease, great work!!

Ha, well done Spike. I like the graphic too, very fitting. It's also a disturbingly romantic poem if it weren't for the intention of the subject!
