Moral love

Contributed by safetyinnumbers on Sunday, 18th May 2008 @ 11:41:00 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

I was drawn by curiousity
and confounded by relativity
I was looking for beliefs
so strong and true

But both rendered me hopeless
to the sad grey fact
that moral views change
and ever react

That no clear cut view
can ever stand
and no black and white
can be found on demand

For many colours of right and wrong
seem to fade into each others song

For truth has many flavours and scents
and to generalise would sever sense
To make one whole from the many parts
Would dilute the many forms of moral love.

Again I am so impressed. There is great truth and depth to this write and I find it refreshing.
Not to mention it is written with the touch of a poetic pen full of talent and flavor.
