I visited a place,
once filled with trees and birds that sang
between the illusion piled on top of confusion
I sat on high lands over shaky grounds
tearing a time that never was,
just an illusion,
not worth the tears of the clouds
nor the lake to feed its pond,
because what mattered
seemed high above
where two souls hugged
sharing their endless love
like two birds singing quietly
for truth, in shades of blue,
below the trees of piercing blades
no one seemed to notice
of sweet words of love that sang
to end this confusion of the illusion,
so the birds remained to regain their wings
high above the trees, wiping their tears away
admiring each others embrace waiting for a day
to fulfill their dream to love freely
so they remained, flying,hugging and singing above
endlessly to eternity
