I Never Said I'd Move On

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

and i'll move. im not saying 'on'
i'll move out of the way of the door
and you drag your suitcase away
pretending your not crying
Well i can see your eyes.
They're never usually that red.

so sombre. your steps, i can see.
your hips even they tremble
well why are you leaving anyway?
my minds made up' you say
what mind? can you not comprehend
how this feels
feelings
yeah those things that ache
my heart it shakes. my breath is thinner
its harder to breathe knowing i wont wake up next to you anymore

'i'll never forget you' and a kiss on the cheek
funny. my minds playing tricks on me
I always knew you were sad.
I always knew one day your goodbye would eat me up.
My mind
The hallucinations!

Because.
The door is really the noose you have around your neck
I didnt want to move out of the way

Your suitcase is that picture of me and you
Dragging us both down.

Yeah its getting harder to breathe.
So leave me. I said i'd move.
But I never said I'd move on.
