When it's dark and you are sad,
Look up deep into the sky
I'll be the star, shining the most
Drawing up lights from your eyes
Shine I will, o'er all your ways
Leading you through thick and thin
Until you reach your longed-for destiny
Where ardor flows above the din
So an innocent wish lingers on:
All I sought in my life's awhile
Those joys, when you'd have found
My soul shall live in your smile
