~Hall of Passion~

Topic: LovePoetry

A wave of anticipation overcame her
at the realization that they were going to be completely alone for the first time.
For the next few minutes, he was going to be all hers.
As the door closed behind them, her heart started beating uncontrollably.
He put his arm around her and tried to pull her closer to him but she pulled back, afraid.
She saw the questioning look in his eyes and replied with her own,
by looking back at the door.
He understood and waited until they had turned the corner to pull her close to him once more.

This time he got no resistance from her.
She gladly slid into his waiting arms.
When their lips met for the first time fireworks exploded in her head.
She could feel the passion that they had shared so many times in their fantasies.
Although her knees felt weak, with his arms finally around her she felt safe.
She knew in her heart that she belonged there.
She also knew that they couldnt stay here much longer so she started walking again.
He held her hands as they walked along the lonely hall
and she felt so much like a teenager at school walking with the football star.
She felt loved.

With every few steps, they kissed,
Each time the passion built more and more.
As they approached the elevator, he cornered her and kissed her even more passionately.
He took her hand and allowed her to feel the passion he felt.
She was overwhelmed.
At that moment, she wanted him so much.
They kissed again longingly as they waited for the elevator to stop at their floor.
Finally, it was here and a young lady stepped out leaving it completely empty.
Her heart skipped a beat!
Could this be the moment for which she had waited a lifetime?

At the blink of an eye, she found her answer.
This was not to be the moment.
The young lady stepped back into the elevator.
She felt cheated, robbed of the chance of a lifetime.
She immediately regretted not staying outside the elevator longer.
But there was no time for regret now.
She had to make the best of the current situation.
She stood opposite him and dreamed of what she would have done had they been alone.

They stepped out of the lift and once more,
they walked along the lonely hall, again groping at each other.
She didnt want the night to end but they were soon approaching the exit.
He stopped her, held her tightly and they kissed again and held each other tightly.
He whispered, I love you, my little lady.
I love you too, Darling.
Stay with me, lets take a walk in the garden.
I cant
but in her heart she knew she wanted nothing more than to stay the night with him,
to wake up in his arms, share a cup of coffee.
He kissed her repeatedly but by this time, she knew she should go.
She kept looking around to make sure that no one had come looking for her.
He knew she had to go.
They kissed one last time and she walked away.
in the wrong direction!
Gee, what had this stranger done to her!

She returned dreamily to the waiting car and was so thankful that she was going home.
She was wet.
He had aroused a fire in her that she had not felt in many years.
She knew now how much she loved this man,
How much she wanted him.
She hoped that he felt the same way,
But if what she felt was any indication, then she had her answer.
She went to bed with a huge smile on her face that night. :>)
