I will not surrender
To the fall of November
In the shadows do you remember
How the moon would shine on you with all it's splendor
Don't walk away from me
Your silence stops me from being free
Do you feel your soul breaking from my silent plea?
Bogged down with the ache of a heart that's lost it's key
The flames lick the sky
And I never had to wonder why
Mankind, horrible and cruel, caused everything to die
I don't remember being so lost, when did I start to cry?
Darkness is swallowing the world
Straight into hell, that's where we've been hurled
The smoke is rising to meet with clouds and there it twirled
My heart is broken, I lay broken and in tears on my bed, curled
War has torn my life apart
See me now, lost at heart?
I'll rise to meet the end, I promise not to part
Don't think it's almost over, I guarentee this is only the start
