I was waiting for you.
Again.
Just like last time.
I wish you couldve seen me tonight;
All dressed and pretty.
Ive never felt so beautiful before:
Like a princess living in a fairy tale.
I had so much fun.
until they started playing the couple songs.
You werent there;
I had no one to dance.
All dressed up, with nowhere to go, it seemed.
I couldve danced with you.
We couldve kissed.
I ended up in the bathroom, crying.
I love you; you dont care about me.
Tears rolled down my cheeks.
I was waiting for you,
Hoping youd change your mind.
I wanted you to see me happy again:
All made-up and gorgeous.
Everyone said how pretty I was.
You werent there to see it.
I was waiting for you,
Just like last time.
And just like then,
You never came.
