Why do people believe what they dont see but disbelieve what they do see? It is easy for them, but not for me.
Im dying to know if you exist because I cant keep on living like this. I wake up, talk, and walk without purpose.
This emptiness fills me with endless tears. This existence kills me with endless fears. O the thought of wasting away these years.
Is it only my doubt that clouds your light? Angels dont tell me if Im wrong or right. Break my umbrella so I drench in your might.
I search for you. I see natures splendor! If these things come from you, I wonder. Somehow, theres got to be a Creator.
When my senses fail to perceive you, I really dont know what else to do. On my final breath, will I know the truth?
Give me a sign, a miracle, something! Im too impatient. I cant keep waiting. Hurry! My hope and goodness are fading!
I have forsaken you, and Im sorry. If you can hear me, please, please forgive me. And if you choose not, I understand completely.

I myself am Athiest, and anti-religion,
But I won't peddle my beliefs to you, only my opinion:
This poem is excellent.
The struggle you feel is presented in such an elegant manner.
Perhaps faith is the right thing for you, perhaps it isn't, but one way or the other you must always question.
Never take "because" for an answer, and never stop searching until you've found the truth.
Good luck.

I am anti religion now days. I do know there is someone though if that makes sense. When you are in the midst of struggle, sometimes when you give up the fighting part of it something will come that will bring you the answers you seek...........
I enjoyed this write........ it is the honest and the humble that I find so appealing. It is also written well.
No wild words, simply honest and heartfelt. To me that makes the poetry.
