Eliciting expectations
from everyone of everything
Eventually eagerness enlivens
And we leave the expectations
For realizations
Realizing regrets
Regretfully revealing reasons
And inadequacies
Inadequacies driving one insane
As my insides run dry
During the death throes
Of my emotions
Reasons run wild
Through and through
As reasons become excuses
And we insist they are true
As they ring false to our ears
And bring forth our fears
We're left to our tears
Tears that never come
For our emotions are Gone
And we're left feeling numb...

Well written and sound in wisdom. Learn to live the day for yourself sometimes. Many efforts are never truly appreciated in the end my dear, sad but true.
