My girl called me up late last night
She started talkin
I knew something wasnt right
Talking turned into a rant
About how she hates my job in the Corps
And if she could handle this anymore
So with a tear in my eye
I told her from the bottom of my heart
I love you and I never want to be apart
But if you decide to call it quits
Give up and leave me behind
Then dont come back , you're gone from my mind
You'll have broken my heart into two
And I wont ever want to see you
Without you in my life
I will have to meaning to carry on
You make me feel like I actually belong
Ive been burned twice before
A third time would break my very core
I cant live in a world that drops me on my face
All I ever wanted was to fall into place
You are my one and only
Who I want to raise a family with
And bring about God's greatest gift
After you there is no one else to lighten my heart
Please dont put out this flame and tear us apart
