when i kissed you in the springtime. . . by fall, I'd lost control. our summer filled with aggrigate. the winters' cold, forlorn. had I known, would I have taken such a pleasant turn at love? if I'd known always the fading languishing within the bud. . .

a beautiful, almost whimsical exposition of the turn of the heart through the metaphor of seasons.
I think we willingly embrace denial of the inevitable, in order to succumb to the bliss of the emotional hit. Damn. That makes me a love junkie...
