Can you feel the heart
right from the start
and pour your soul
in part or whole
to stave your pain
and love the same
without expectations
not seeking gain
finding the bloom
beneath the thorn
kissing in kindness
when another is forlorn
embellishing beauty
with each step you take
without stepping on hearts
and making them break.

you managed to say so much with so few words. i love it. these are all the questions ive been asking myself recently... kinda weird how this is the first poem i read on one of my random readings...
