The things to remember, and the things to forget.

Contributed by ellimac on Monday, 16th June 2008 @ 05:54:18 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Forget her name, forget her face
Forget her kiss and warm embrace
Forget the love that once came true
Remember now there's someone new,

Forget the words that she once spoke
Forget the words that you once wrote
Forget the times you spent together
Remember now she deserves better,

Forget the nights that seemed like bliss
Forget the way she would kiss
Forget her soft-spoken simple ways
Remember shes not thinking of you everyday,

Forget the way she said she loved you
Forget the way she squeezed and hugged you
Forget the nights she held you tight
Remember she keeps her warm tonight,

Forget her teasing, gentle ways
Forget your thoughts of her every single day
Forget the girl that you once knew
Remember now she loves her too,

Forget the promises of love thats real
Forget the way she made you feel
Forget the way she walks and her deep sighs
Remember this, with every teardrop from your eyes

Forget her hand intertwined with yours
Forget that you love her more
Forget the way she made you smile
Remember that it takes a while

Forget the way she looked at you
Forget her by your side the whole night through
Forget what you thought of love and what you thought you knew,
REMEMBER, now, she doesnt love you.

I do not know much about poetry, I am only here to hang out with Shelby but I would say this is top notch.
What gives with no comments?? It is a sad write though
