Ive been through thick and thin,
Trying to control the beast
That is within.
Or hide it, in the very least.
Ive been through light and dark,
Allowing people to leave their mark.
Almost killed myself because of a guy.
Yeahgasp. Oh my!
Ive had my ups and downs,
Dealing with people who may as well be clowns.
So sick of being around them,
And dealing with all the pointless mayhem
They create.
Theyll never change; I shouldnt wait.
Ive been through high and low.
That high point seemed so long ago.
Ill keep waiting, I suppose,
Until everyone outgrows
Their stupidity.
Maybe one day, theyll finally see.
Maybe one day, things will return to normal
And I will no longer be this little girl, so innocent and fragile.
Maybe.
One day.
Ill forget.
Everything.
