Does anyone recognize me?
When you look me in the eyes..
Do you see the color that saturates them?
Or are you so blinded by what you don't know?
Can you not see who I really am?
Oh, how I wish you could see.
But my soul, is a blur to you.
You cannot handle me,
So you avoid.
But you do not know me,
So how can this be?
If I could show you all the world,
I would.
And if I could prevent you from pain,
I would.
If I could stop time to feel the joy in my heart when you are all around me,
I would and I wouldn't let a thing ruin it.
I would fight my biggest fears to know I still have you.
If you're still there, I am relieved.
But I need you to believe.
My soul is untamed yet trapped.
And I need to be free.
