Do not force me to pick it up

I guess this is how things work out
you love me you have been abused by men i understand all woman are
but don't think of me as one of them i never laid a hand on any animal or human created by god
You want to walk strong i understand self respect is something important in me also
but do not think i will force you to listen to what i listen to or change you in anyway
you are my princess and i a small prince only wanting you in my arms
I know your love for god i walked with him longer then you my love
Do not force me to pick up the cross that is my choice and i am to strong to kneel right now
i will make the world no how much you mean to me but do not let him destroy us again
love me now you know in your heart i am a kind man a man to be proud of
you will walk proud knowing your man only cares for others then the flash of man

I do not speak in tongues my words are open without guilt
i do not fall on the floor i walk proud head high
be with me my love i will not force beliefs against you
worship him with love just walk with me and share some of that love for the rest of the world
be one with me so we can shine toghter
