Shattered Crystal splinters Strewn among the rocks Endless the well of tears Ever-full Timeless weeps the stream.
Is not an army Thus tramples upon the highway But a loved one onced loved The thirteenth guest That thus Holds the hammer Casts the blow.
Glass may shatter but once Broken souls, Break more each day More each day left to break Broken, thus my heart Seems not possible Evermore it breaks Each day.
Sun may shine. Tears may flow Yet, evermore the surf Will crash Upon the rocks Among the Crystal splinters Grinding slowly to sand Within the turmoil Grinding slowly ...forevermore.

Some beautiful imagery. Especially like the way poem kind of dwindles out with final stanza. |
